At KIPP New Orleans Schools, we believe that every student has the potential to achieve greatness. One of the most fundamental steps toward success is regular school attendance. Studies have shown that students who attend school consistently are more likely to excel academically, build strong social connections, and develop positive lifelong habits.
This year, we are excited to launch the All Star Attendance Challenge, an initiative designed to encourage our students to start strong and stay strong. The challenge is simple: students who are present for at least 28 out of the first 30 days of school will earn an exclusive All Star T-shirt. This nearly perfect attendance rate of 93% sets a solid foundation for the rest of the school year.
